I am recruiting Team Leaders to work in a Children's Residential Setting for a company based in the North West. I am looking for hard working dedicated Senior Residential Support Workers who are ready to step up into a Team Leader Role or existing Team Leaders looking for a new challenge. If you are ready to take the next step and move into a Team Leader Role in a Residential Children's home then I have a number of positions in and around Merseyside and Cheshire. The young people are between the ages of 8 and 17, who may have EBD and LD. As a Team Leader in a Residential Children's home you will be part of a valued team to provide a nurturing and homely environment for the young people to thrive. You will be expected to set boundaries, lead by example and support the young people as much as possible, to ensure their transition to adulthood is the best it can be.
The role of a Team Leader in a Residential Children's home can be challenging, but also massively rewarding. You will receive first class training and will already hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People). You will be working within an established and experienced team who will make you feel welcome and supported.
The ideal candidate will have:2 years' experience in a Residential Children's home, at least 1 year as a team leader/senior support workerAbility to be flexible to ensure rota managementHold NVQ or Diploma level 3 in Children and Young peopleTo undertake on-call duties as per rota if and when requiredOwn car and Business insurance, and to use own car if requiredGood leadership skillsExperience of completing good quality supervisionsAbility to ensure good quality records are maintained/reports produced, and young person's files up to dateSound knowledge and understanding of the Social Care inspection framework (SCCIF)Sound knowledge and understanding of the Quality StandardsKnowledge of the Children's Home's Regulation's 2015To undertake on-call duties as per rota if and when required
