Do you want to work in care and help vulnerable children? Then we are looking for you!

We are currently recruiting in partnership with our client for full time workers with the passion for providing high quality, person centred care for children and young people who suffer from conditions such as ADHD, Autism and Aspergers.

Location: Andover

The pay starts at £8.00/ hour , start date immediately

Early Shift - 7.30am-3.00pm and Late Shift - 2.30pm-10pm

The Role:



* Help create a safe and acceptable atmosphere for the children and young people
* Supporting children and young people with managing their behaviour through positive approach
* To support at all times the long term aim for student independence by encouraging the growth of these skills, but to nonetheless assist, when appropriate, with the physical and personal care of the students.
* To attend appropriate in-service training as required by the job role.
* Engage children and young people with various activities indoors and outdoors

Essential skills:



* Passionate about improving the lives of others
* A positive role model and ability to work as part of a team
* Flexible in working the shift patterns on a rota basis including weekends
* Ability to prioritise and respond to differing demands as required at work
* Knowledge of young people who have complex and multiple learning disabilities including challenging behaviour
