As an SEND Tutor, your role will involve supporting & educating students on a 1:1, long term basis; reengage and easing them back into a learning environment. Session last 1-3 hours and take place in schools, local libraries and care homes.

Responsibilities as an SEN Tutor:Working 1:1 with students who have various special educational needsTravelling to schools, libraries and students homes on a daily basisProvide weekly written reports on student's processMotivate learners and deal with challenging behaviourPrepare to work with disengaged students on a daily basis
Requirements as an SEN Tutor:QTS, Degree or Teaching Assistant qualification or previously tutoring experienceExperience of working with SEN studentsHighly ambitious & enthusiasticBe able to work with a creative approach to the curriculumAble to manage behaviour and set firm and clear boundaries
