A unique South West London design and build firm are going from strength to strength and are consistently being awarded new industry leading projects. As a result of this busy steam of work, they are looking to grow the team considerably across both their design and technical departments.

As long established specialists in the event and exhibition Design industry, this leading firm take the initial concept and build great visual spaces and practical environments to fulfil their clients needs. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and have an involved role in the busy technical team, you will be liaising with various teams in the office.

Working with leading Retail and Food & beverage firms to leading global events including festivals, brand launches and key sporting events there is plenty of variation in all the work they do.

To be considered for this role you must be an experienced Interior Technician or Interior Architect ideally with a background in the Retail, F&B or exhibitions/events sector, although versatile individuals from other sector backgrounds and a more Architectural background will also be considered.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

Experience in detailing in Vectorworks is essential

A proven technical background creating detailed drawing packages and a portfolio illustrating this, an understanding of UK building regulations is also important

The ability to work across different departments and solve drafting problems.

Ability to work under pressure to deadline.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience in the design and build fit out or installation industry is highly preferable although not essential.

Experience liasing with product and manufacturing teams, is also ideal although not essential.

Have a working knowledge of UK building regulations, systems and methods of construction and ideally installation/ fit out experience.
