Water Hygiene Engineer
Mobile - Durham area

£22,000 - £24,400 per annum

Requirements



* City and Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Demonstrate previous experience in related water system remediation/maintenance works
* Plumbing qualification - C&G level 2 or above
* Full UK driving license
* Desirable to have working knowledge of the respective legislation such as HSC, ACoP L8, HSG 274 Water regulations
* Previous Experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of Chemical water treatment services

Responsibilities



* Undertake monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a legionella control program in accordance to respective current legislation
* Monitoring inspections will involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, and logbook auditing
* Maintenance tasks will include minor plumbing repairs, TMV Strip downs, minor alterations and installation works associated with domestic hot & cold water systems
* The role will involve working in a multi-site capacity therefore you must be prepared to travel throughout the region
* The inspections will be undertaken using a PDA and web based electronic log book system
* Undertake other water hygiene related tasks as required including Monitoring, Maintenance and Remediation works
