We have a long term opportunity starting in April 2019 based near Hertford. This will be a fixed term contract, however permanent opportunities will be available for a September start. They have very happy, hard-working and enthusiastic children who are being prepared for successful lives. Due to a member of staff having to resign due to health issues, Randstad is supporting the school with recruiting a passionate Year 2 teacher, to start either immediately or after Easter 2019.

* Be accountable for pupil's attainment, progress and learning outcomes
* Be aware of pupil's capabilities and their prior knowledge, and plan teaching to build on
* Dedicate yourself and take every opportunity to expand every child's learning experience
* Guide pupils to reflect on the progress they have made and their emerging needs
* Encourage pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn and how this impacts on teaching


* Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
* Have experience in a similar role
* Be resilient and have a determined approach
* Be able to engage with a wide range of pupils
* Have fantastic communication skills, and not be afraid to voice new ideas
