Year 3 Teacher - Blackburn

Would you like to be a part of a school who are equipped to support and enable all their staff and students to make outstanding progress?

Are you passionate about education and how it enables children to overcome obstacles and barriers?

We have been retained by a 'Good' school that is looking to become 'Outstanding'. Our school are looking for an excellent class teacher who is able to inspire and motivate pupils. The successful teacher will be creative and reflective, with excellent communication and personal organisation skills.

Randstad has been supporting recruitment in schools for 6 years, and we have a 100% retainment record with teachers we have placed previously. Due to a year 3 teacher going on maternity leave after Easter 2019, we are now recruiting for a driven and dedicated teacher on a fixed 1-year contract.

* Free on-site parking; easy access to public transport
* Weekly pay with an efficient PAYE payroll system
* Access to Randstad benefits i.e. cinema discounts, holiday vouchers, high street discounts etc.
* Pay in accordance to scale
* A vastly experienced and supportive parallel year 3 teacher
* A supportive, teaching-focused senior leadership team
* Great opportunities for personal and professional development
* Experienced, supportive and welcoming colleagues

* Help children develop lively and enquiring minds and provide them with opportunities to make decisions for themselves
* Identify children who have special educational needs or who are gifted, and provide appropriate help, support, challenges and additional resources as appropriate
* Encourage teamwork and a balanced attitude towards competitiveness
* Develop an awareness of the importance of exercise and a good, healthy diet and lifestyle
* Foster an appreciation for the school's position as part of a village community and the wider world
* Deliver a wide, stimulating curriculum, including all the National Curriculum subjects
* Provide a happy, secure and caring environment in which all children can equally develop their social, emotional, aesthetic and academic potential

* Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
* Have experience in a similar role
* Be passionate about education
* Have fantastic classroom management skills
* Be able to commit to a fixed, 1-year maternity contract

If you're passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and have exceptional drive and ambition to get the best out of each student, please apply now and our primary consultant will be in touch.

Please note, only qualified teachers and NQT's will be contacted.
