Responsibilities:
* To effectively use a range of ICT within the classroom
* To set appropriate expectations according to the individual ability of every pupil in your class
* To plan and provide clear teaching objectives, content, lesson structures and sequences appropriate to the subject matter and the pupils being taught
* To identify pupils who have special educational needs, and know where to get help in order to give positive and targeted support
* To deliver tuition to whole class groups, small groups and individuals
* To use engaging teaching methods
* To create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment according to the school's ethos
* To mark and monitor pupils' class and homework, providing constructive feedback
* To ensure pupils progress towards their targets
* To ensure standards are high in all aspects of social and emotional development
* To build positive relationships with parents and the wider community
* To prepare and present informative reports to parents
* To recognise that learning takes place outside the school environment and to relate curricular learning to real and work-related examples
* To evaluate your own teaching critically, accepting feedback in order to improve effectiveness
* To establish positive working relationships with professional colleagues, including support staff


Requirements
* PGCE, B ED, GTP, SCITT and any other qualification that will award QTS
* Recent experience teaching
* Excellent organisation and creative skills
