Our client in the Exton area is seeking an Administrative Assistant has in a small office where they will be expected to "wear multiple hats" . The successful candidate must be comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and deadlines and eager to learn new skills and subject matter.

Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant assists and supports multiple executive as well as and elected Board of Supervisors with the administration and coordination of selected operations and public meetings, and coordinates a variety of Human Resources functions. Other responsibilities include handling confidential information; providing leadership and guidance to the support staff; and records management.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
The ideal candidate will have, or will soon acquire, knowledge of human resources, legal processes and general procedures and policies in municipal government.

Qualifications:
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in human resources, business or public administration, paralegal studies or a related field from a recognized college or university, plus a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in human resources or administration or an equivalent combination of experience and education.The candidate will bring experience in human resources and/or administrative support, with strong organizational, writing and people skills, as well as attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and an aptitude for learning new software also is essential.
