The Assistant Controller will be responsible for the accounting activities within the finance department and divisions' of the organization.

salary: $120,000 - 135,000 per year
work hours: 9 to 6
education: Bachelor's degree
experience: 10 Years
 
responsibilities:
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close
  • Prepare monthly accruals and reconcile G/L accounts
  • Oversee grant management and donations
  • Responsible for external reporting to financial institutions
  • Document accounting policies and procedures
  • Establish new and strengthen existing internal controls
  • Work with external auditors
  • Assist with new software implementation
  • Manage Accounts Payable and General Accounting Staff
 
qualifications:
  • CPA or Master's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Non-profit experience required
  • Knowledge of government contract accounting regulations
  • Minimum 10 years experience
