job summary:

Our client, a globally respected medical and home care equipment supplier is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant in its Cedar Springs office. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for:

 
location: Cedar Springs, Michigan
job type: Permanent
salary: $40,000 - 55,000 per year
work hours: 9 to 5
education: Bachelor's degree
experience: 1 Years
 
responsibilities:
  • Preparing accounting records and reports to assure accuracy and conformity to reporting and procedural standards
  • Providing administrative support as necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
  • Assembling, processing and reviewing invoices for payments
  • Maintaining copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondences necessary for files
  • Reconciling bank statements by using QuickBooks and ERP system
  • Translating monthly bank statements into Chinese and forwarding bank statements to parent corporation in China
  • Managing and improving recordkeeping and accounting systems utilizing current computer technologies
  • Assuring maintenance of budgets to conform to standards set by parent corporation
  • Analyzing accounts payable ageing
  • Projecting future expenses
  • Advising management about accounting issues, future expenses, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
 
qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration in Accounting required, Master's degree preferred. Must be able to speak and write Chinese.
