A Milford area services company is seeking a Billing Manager to lead a 4 person department. The Billing Manager is responsible for streamlining the billing process for multiple product lines.

responsibilities:
  • Oversee the billing process, while making improvements
  • Provide billing information for month end close
  • Ensure all deadlines are met
  • Ability to oversee and mentor the team
  • Implement quality assurance for all processes
  • Present operational data to management
  • Special billing planning and implementation
  • Staff development
  • Handling problem escalation and customer service
  • Assist with implementation of ERP from external billing system
 
qualifications:
  • Experience with strategic planning in a billing department
  • Excel skills a MUST (v-lookups and Pivot Tables)
  • Experience with Intacct and SAP strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of problem solving
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Accounting background required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

Compensation: $55-75K, depending on experience, potential for overtime
