job summary:

Position Description

    Company's product is looking for a Regulatory Operations Associate.

    This compliance-type role is a temporary assignment staffed through one of Company's product 's staffing suppliers.

    This person will be responsible for assembling, tracking, filing, and organizing applications, required permits, and selected compliance reports to regulatory agencies, and tracking deadlines using proprietary issue tracking software.

    The ideal candidate will operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment, and navigate through ambiguity with a great detail and organization.

    This person will work cross-functionally among the Operations, Legal, Safety, Public Policy, and engineering teams.

    This person may be required to drive several hours per week, but no overnight travel is needed.

Professionalism, care, and personal responsibility is required at all times. Company's product has a strong team culture of safefty and we expect everyone to adhere to team standards of conduct. This person is expected to keep all project details confidential.

Overall Responsibilities:

- Filing, organizing, and tracking regulatory compliance paperwork, both digital and hardcopy versions

- Assembling and tracking regulatory applications for vehicle or driver permits or approvals and related submissions to regulatory agencies

- Track deadlines and processes using proprietary issue tracking software

- Drive several hours per month as necessary for delivery of documents

- Work with an exceptional level of professionalism, detail, and organization

- Ability to work individually and as part of a cross-functional team

1. Filing and organizing regulatory forms, both hardcopy and digital versions, into various systems

2. Filling out and tracking regulatory and compliance applications at the direction of cross-functional management

3. Assisting in building out and utilizing a process and compliance-tracking system within proprietary software

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory- AA Business Administration, Legal and/or regulatory related discipline - 2-3 years in an administrative, legal, or regulatory role - 2+ years working in a fast-paced, extremely detail-oriented and organized environment - 1+ years working with proprietary software - with the ability to suggest features, help build out, organize, and utilize the same software - 1+ year of experience completing and tracking regulatory/compliance paperwork - Strong understanding/regular usage of GSuite (GMail, Drive, Sheets, etc.) - Strong understanding of project tracking software (ex. JIRA, Scrum, Agile, etc.) - Ability to quickly learn and feel comfortable with proprietary software - Strong computer skills across several OS including Windows and Ubuntu - Strong copier/scanner skills Candidates must have the following experience/skills to be submitted to the requisition: A background in a legal regulatory role Extensive experience with GSuite; specifically with Sheets. Project management and ability to operate separate programs on their own Strong experience in working with project tracking software, JIRA.

Desired- Strong familiarity with CA DMV processes - Familiarity with state and federal transportation regulations
