job summary:

Looking for a business systems analyst with banking and Agile experience for a year long contract in Southern NJ.

SUMMARY:

Primary Purpose of the Role:

Plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical / functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworks. Provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with business partners / technology / project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

- Sound to Advanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques

- Sound to Advanced knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rule

- Advanced knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise including design, development, testing and project management

- Performs work on all aspects of the system analyst process from end to end

- Projects are moderate to highly complex and performed under minimal management supervision

- Work may be reviewed by the Manager / Senior Analyst

- Generally reports to a Manager / Senior Manager

Develop in depth knowledge of applications and their interdependences. Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other technology teams within organization to solve problems and deliver solutions. Understand, document and interpret complex user requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners, other Technology Solutions organizations and external vendors to define the technical requirements at the program level.

? Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time line estimates, scope and control.

? Develop use cases, defining and documenting user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with each system function.

? Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability.

? Establish appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementation.

? Define, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics.

? Assist in the development of conversion and implementation strategies. Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and desktop standards, and the business. Provide user documentation, user training, and post implementation support.

? Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed of project status and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.

SKILLS:

Experience in financial services/banking (i.e retail lending, fixed income trading etc..).

Experience in QA and testing. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong presentation and communications skills. Collaborative team building skills.
