Contract position: World renowned beverage company in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced PTC Creo Designer for a six plus month contract assignment.

Responsibilities for the CAD Designer

  • Generate new and modify existing 3D models and drawings for new products in Creo by working closely with engineers on their concepts (napkin sketches) and redline changes
  • Generates solid models and detail drawings in Creo by following Design & GDT standards
  • Perform tolerance studies on new and existing products to ensure proper fit and recommend appropriate tolerances
  • Document engineering changes in creo and roll those changes up into assemblies; Develop bill of material (requires understanding of working with WT Parts)

Requirements for the CAD Designer

  • 7+ years new product design with experience in Plastics (Injection Molded Thermoformed and Blow Molding) and knowledge of (draft angles slides and side pulls.)
  • 3+ years of continuous experience in PTC's Creo 2.0 is required.
  • Experience in Engineering Change management processes including Windchill WT Parts
  • Experience with Tooling and Manufacturing as it relates to CADD documentation.
