Randstad is looking for hard- working and dependable truck drivers who will be responsible for transporting goods using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks and vehicles with GW of over 32,000 pounds. We have partnered with a well established cargo company that focus on the well being of their employers, great company with great compensation package.

Working hours: Must be able to work all hours and overtime
Job locations: Over the road, Out of State

Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-trip inspections (correctly complete driver's log book) of his/her vehicle and be able to explain what one inspects and why
- Record amount and type of cargo being delivered
- Inspect their trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects they find
- Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
- Maneuver and control the vehicle in a safe fashion, which includes handling the vehicle on-site and in over-the-road situations, proper signaling, searching for hazards, controlling speed, lane positioning, matching speeds to road conditions (wet, dry, snow, or ice), and the ability to drive during the daytime or nighttime; follow all applicable traffic laws
- Safely load and unload all equipment/materials over all terrains, and properly secure all loads; ensuring proper weight distribution
- Responsible for routine fueling, lubricating, and servicing of their vehicle; perform operator maintenance to ensure that vehicles are in a safe, efficient and presentable operating condition in compliance with established policies
- Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking
- Understand air brake systems if any vehicle is equipped with the system
- May operate vehicles over state and county roads and city streets in all types of traffic conditions

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

-Demonstrate the ability to load/unload, secure load, obey highway traffic regulations, and deliver equipment and materials in a timely manner as not to delay production on job sites
-Able to perform pre-trip inspection and properly fill out DOT log book and fuel record
-Deliver/pick-up equipment, materials and other supplies in a timely fashion
-Proficient in the maintenance of the vehicle they are driving
-Reliable transportation and show up to work on time every day
-Willing to travel to any and all job sites without exception
-Comply with all company safety and personnel policies
-Able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and job site in order to complete work
-Work the hours necessary in order to achieve the goals of the company
