The Randstad in the Cumberland/Vinings area is looking for a Claims Service Representative on a temp-to-hire basis. This position is 8 AM-5 PM, Monday through Friday, paying 14-17/hr. A background in customer service is required, preferably in a workers compensation claims environment.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties:
-Responsible for accurately entering all first reports of injury efficiently and in a timely manner
-Reports are received by mail, fax, phone and email
-Provide high level customer service to agents and insured's by verifying coverage and answering
general claims questions
-Assists in making initial contact on medical claims, requests first report of injury on unmatched mail
and accurately completes state forms
-Requests medical notes and bills from providers
-Processes bill payments, indexes mail, enters and changes client information, prints checks and orders
supplies
-Initiates and receives inbound and outbound calls to resolve customer issues
-Ability to adhere to attendance guidelines
-Additional duties and projects as assigned

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
-High School Diploma Required
-Bachelors Degree a plus
-1 or more years' customer service experience, preferably in a workers compensation claims
environment
