Randstad is currently working with a large job shop near Franklin looking for a highly skilled machinist on 1st shift! The candidate needs to be able to work directly from prints - from programming & set-up to operation & inspection. This is also a direct hire opportunity - if offered a position you'll immediately become an employee of the company. Additionally, the company offers great benefits including profit sharing and 401(k) match.

Responsibilities:
-Receiving a blueprint and machining the part from start to finish
-Programming at the machine and/or using CAM software
-Performing set-ups and operating the machine
-First piece, in-process, and last piece inspections

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills:
-3+ years in a job shop environment
-Proficienct with Mastercam (or similar software), or programming at the machine in G&M codes
-Able to work independently with little supervision
