job summary:

Communications Coordinator

Job Summary

Assists with communication projects and provided administrative support ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day activities between the Managers, Communications Specialists and the Member & Provider Communications department to ensure project and material development expectations are met.
  • Open and close job tasks in communication workflow
  • Track and provide status of ICS, business owner and regulatory recommendations and approvals
  • Archive final versions of plan communications upon completion
  • Proof communications to ensure quality and brand standards are met
  • Maintain strong, positive, working relationships with business partners and Member & Provider communications colleagues.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of state and federal contracts, products and benefits to ensure compliance and accuracy in materials content and communications.
  • Adhere to set expectations and actively oversees quality of work including state and federal compliance, accuracy and consistency as it pertains to materials development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: A High School or GED Required; A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Health Policy & Management,
  • Marketing or related field Preferred
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in Communications development and/or marketing required
  • Ability to drive multiple projects
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to proof large bodies of materials
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills
  • Demonstrated written communication skills
