One of my clients is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to their team!- Construction experience a MUST!- Insurance or legal experience preferred as well. This position is a temporary to hire role, that can quickly turn into a permanent position! Could be permanent offering for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for assisting with Purchasing and Contracts Management.
-Screening and scheduling qualified contractors for bidding.
-Assist in getting purchase orders signed by vendors and filed.
-Assist in submitting completed purchase orders for payment.
-Assist in negotiating the lowest cost possible while maintaining high quality.
-Assist in creatively sourcing new products to help lower cost and improve quality/aesthetic appeal of our houses.
-Assist in developing detailed estimates
-Assist in developing detailed scope of work for renovations, including a schedule for each contractor on the job. Scope of work should maximize ROI on each property.
-Assist in managing contracts for all trades and subcontractors.
-Assist in bidding out renovations and hiring and managing contractors. Constantly recruit new contractors and vendor relationships through networking and cold calls. Ensure contractors are properly registered prior to starting jobs.
-Strive to complete projects below assigned budget, and continuously seek ways to reduce construction cost and streamline processes.
-Assist in updating reports to track every detail of construction. Manage all paperwork and electronic files in a timely and organized way.
-Anything else necessary to help the company meet its goals.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Good computer skills, especially using Excel.
-Bachelors Degree preferred
-Experience in the construction industry or purchasing a big plus, but not required.
