job summary:

A stable and growing manufacturing organization is currently looking for a senior cost accountant to cover a project for 2-3 months. This role heavily involved with the new implementation of Epicor from a cost perspective. Experience with both Epicor and system implementations would be a big plus. Manufacturing experience is a must have with this opportunity with a minimum of 2 years.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • SOX assistance with compliance and internal and external audits
  • Month end close, Journal entry prep, reconciliations and analysis of inventory accounts
  • Analysis of expenses, bench-marking and trend analysis
  • Assist in the design, testing and validation of the work streams in accordance to the ERP system conversion

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel skill
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take on new projects and responsibilities with minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of GAAP, transfer pricing, and month end close

Pay range is 37-50/hour depending on experience
