Permanent position: Large Pipe Manufacturer is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor for their Mississippi location. Qualifed candidates MUST have degree at 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities for the Customer Service Engineer

  • Participate in monthly strategy/planning sessions
  • Work with logistics on: inventory planning, allocation, and manufacturing policies/procedures
  • Assist Manager in improving or establishing departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide support to Field Sales as a communications link and marketing interaction on promotions, trade shows, and introduction of new products
  • Monitor service level efficiencies; Schedule adequate coverage to run the service center and identify opportunities to improve workflow & efficiency levels to improve quality of service provided to customers
  • Liaison with the production scheduler for manufactured or purchased items to maximize customer satisfaction

Requirements for the Customer Service Engineer

  • Must have BA or BS degree
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Service field in a Manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
  • Must be able to communicate ideas/recommendations to all levels of the organization
  • Must have order management experience
