We currently have an opportunity with a Fortune 100 insurance company located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a rapidly growing industry and they urgently need someone with data entry and Microsoft Excel experience. This is a 5 month contract that has a possibility to be extended but will be based upon the needs of the business. This is not a commissioned sales position. This position is an opportunity for you learn and establish yourself in a fast paced, high volume, growth environment.


Pay rate: $13.63
Work Hours: Monday -- Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to performing general clerk operations in our disability coverage department.
Review and interpret policy documents including sold case notifications and cancellation notifications
Research system applications to locate specific policy documents as needed
Prepare coverage files and bar-code labels for new policy documents to be stored in our coverage file room
Retrieve policy documents electronically or from our coverage file room to be photocopied and distributed with the appropriate claim files.
Respond to customer requests for policy documents by locating, photocopying and delivering the documents to the customer or sending to the customer electronically
Return and re-file the policy documents to the coverage file room each day
Process and file policy updates and cancellations each day
*Shift cancelled policy documents to on-site closed storage area as needed
*Retrieve, package and prepare cancelled policy documents to be shipped to our off-site storage area as needed

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Candidates should have strong data entry and computer skills and pay attention to detail. They should be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.

*Candidates should be able to lift, push and pull up to 30lbs.
