job description

Responsible for providing customer service support regarding company products via telephone or written communication. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Assisting agents and brokers via telephone or written communication. Responding to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life insurance. Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests.

Responsibilities:
Handling requests in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner following standard processes and procedures is required

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Requires a high school diploma; 1 year of related customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Previous health insurance industry experience preferred. Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred.
A grammar and typing assessment are required. Selected candidates must score at least 75% on the grammar assessment and 25 WPM on typing.

Qualifications:
Some flexibility in schedule may be required between the hours of 7:30am - 6pm. Selected candidates will work 8 hour shifts within this range.
