A large business in Puyallup specializing in providing support for healthcare providers is hiring multiple Customer Service Representatives. This position is responsible for ensuring assigned healthcare accounts are billed and paid accurately in a timely manner. Qualified applicants will have previous customer service experience. Knowledge of the healthcare field and medical billing is preferred. To be successful in this role, candidates will have a positive attitude and the ability to resolve issues by thinking critically.

Duties
- Respond to telephone inquiries (inbound/outbound), utilizing standard procedures and scripts
- Gather information, perform research, and resolve customer inquiries
- Communicate appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner
- Inform customers/patients about services available and assess their needs
- Schedule work to ensure accurate phone coverage, prioritize calls and escalate as required
- Assist in planning and implementing department goals and make recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- 2-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience in healthcare field and/or medical billing (preferred, not required)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (desired, not required)
- Have a service-oriented mindset and the ability to effectively problem solve
- Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
- Respect and enforce HIPAA rules and regulations
- Professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to thrive in a call center environment
- Must be organized, adaptable, and reliable
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the team to achieve service goals

Location, Hours & Salary
- Location: Puyallup, WA 98372
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week (various shift times available between 5:00am-5:30pm)
- Pay: $14.00-$15.00 per hour
- Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
- Interview & Start Date: ASAP
