job summary:

Randstad Technologies is partnering with a non-profit health care client who's seeking multiple Desktop Support Techs for the Salem, Somerville and Boston area.

 
location: Salem, Massachusetts
job type: Contract
 
responsibilities:
  • Provide end-users technical support of networked devices, printers, desktops, and peripheral devices.
  • Individual will provide deployment, software installation, testing of network connections.
  • Troubleshooting of applications, desktop operating systems, printers and peripherals. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • They generally hold a Bachelors Degree in healthcare, computer science or other related field and commonly have

  • Knowledge of desktop operation environments: Windows XP, Vista, 7
  • Knowledge of supported software packages: MSOffice, Microsoft Explorer, Peregrine Asset and Service Center
  • Knowledge of computer hardware
  • General knowledge of LAN operation system: 2003, XP, 7
