Law Firm in Century City is looking for an executive assistant to support two partners in their entertainment division. The candidate will need to have worked in the entertainment industry, preferably at a major studio, and also have experience working within a legal department. Experience at a law firm is desired. Will also consider those that have worked with entertainment lawyers at a law firm or practice

Responsibilities:

  • Roll calls, maintain phone logs, oversee calendar, scheduling, expense reports and travel arrangements
  • Execute legal practice tasks and projects
  • Execute administrative functions and facilitate completion of tasks including finance/billing-related tasks, time and expense entry, opening of new matters, client presentations, meetings and other administrative projects as assigned


Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

  • Coordinate and delegate to Firm resources as needed to handle tasks and projects
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence; apply subject matter expertise in coordination of legal practice tasks and projects
  • Support client billing processes including: appropriate support of time entry protocols, edit and review process of client bills, coordination of expense reporting and promotion of time entry best practices


Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of executive assistant and/or transactional experience
  • Must have worked in the entertainment industry or entertainment department in previous role
  • Must have some legal experience
  • Advanced ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, delegate and work as part of a team
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
