job summary:

Highly Visible Financial Analyst position - $55,000 - $70,000 plus bonus

Exciting and highly visible Financial Analyst position with one of Lancaster's fastest growing companies. This position will support an emerging and dynamic business unit and will report directly to the business unit's President (with a dotted line to the company's Corporate Controller).

Our firm has a long history with this company and believe they offer the "total package". Our history indicates the exposure you receive in this role would position you for bigger and better things.

Our clients are conveniently located within Central Pennsylvania to provide a nice commute from most of Lancaster County and parts of Lebanon, York and Harrisburg.

Responsibilities will include--

  • Prepare monthly financial summary reports to management including revenue, expense and additional statistics.
  • Assist President with annual budget preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor current P&L / financial statements and report budget discrepancies and variances.
  • Evaluate general practices and and make recommendations for changes; initiate new procedures and guidelines while measuring the effectiveness of current procedures.
  • WIP ("Work In Progress") Analysis and Reporting

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of two years of financial analysis, corporate finance and / or corporate accounting experience. Our client requires a candidate who has strong verbal / written communication skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment. Our client would strongly prefer candidates with strong PC Systems skills (Excel, Access, etc.) and experience working with an ERP system. Candidates with experience streamlining processes are strongly preferred.
