Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a new warehouse position? Do you like making extra cash with overtime? If so, we need you for a new warehouse facility in one of the metro Atlanta's largest beverage supplier facilities. Pay is above market averages and extra incentives are given for consistent performance

The facility fosters a team environment since good communication skills with fellow employees is critical for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse.On this hard working team, you have a chance to recharge on your daily lunch break within the on-site lounge.

Responsibilities:
As a forklift operator you will drive a powered industrial truck with a hydraulic mechanism to lift and move heavy goods. In a fast paced manufacturing warehouse, you will perform tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. You might load and unload trucks or be asked to supply production areas with product or remove finished goods to a warehouse storage area. You may also inspect lifts before use and participate in training sessions for license renewal.

We also need you to check inventory, execute product counts, weigh or tag product, and use a handheld barcode scanner. Other tasks could involve wrapping loads with a shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck, and light cleaning of the warehouse.

Work is performed in a high-speed bottling and production environment. Work involves exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness, heights, dust, moving equipment, vibrations and vapors.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout shift
- Ability to stand up for long hours
- Comfortable with warm/hot temperatures
- Independent worker with leadership capabilities
-Takes initiative and has accountability for the quality and effectiveness of own work.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work 8-hour, 10-hour or 12-hour shift or required necessary hours to meet the business requirements. This may include overtime and weekend work as necessary
- Build Orders, using RF Scanner, experience preferred
- Manually lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, throughout an 8 hour or more shift
- Load materials from production lines onto trucks and flatbeds
- Move materials within the warehouse to facilitate production
- Maintain safety practices at all times
- Cross-training on other warehouse machinery

Minimum requirements include:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift in the last 18 months is required
- Provide a minimum of 2 positive references with at least 1 previous employer to validate your Forklift Experience
- Able to pass a Criminal and MVR background
- Able to pass a Drug Screening
