We are offering an exciting opportunity to work with a company that developed fuel cell technology for NASA's Mars program. We seek your experience in this highly technical field as we revolutionize clean energy. Together we will dramatically change the way that the world's energy is produced, distributed and consumed.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare entries for the monthly close and run automated consolidation process.
-Responsible for generating monthly financial statements workbook using Oracle ERP system.
-Oversee cash accounting for all cash accounts.
-Record debt and capital lease monthly accounting transactions.
-Follow up with business owners outside the accounting department to address open items
-Identify variances in monthly flux reporting process
-Support internal and external quarterly accounting disclosure requirements.
-Oversee sales and use tax monthly reporting and ensure monthly reporting is completed accurately and on deadline.
-Conduct various aspects of internal and external audits
-Maintain internal financial controls and procedures, including developing and/or updating procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls for SOX readiness.
-Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis and special projects as needed.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
-2+ Years of progressively responsible accounting management roles
-Strong working knowledge of GAAP
-Able to prioritize workload, work as part of a team, as well as independently
-Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
-Adaptive, Hyperion or other global planning system experience preferred
-Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable influencing decisions with executives
