A leading fabrication company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This is a position that works with internal and external customers in the sales function. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with knowledge of fabrication and metals.

Responsibilities:
- SAP knowledge and experience required
- Fabrication or Metals knowledge and experience is a must
- Regular interaction with customer base (large and small accounts).
- Build relationships with previously assigned or new customers through responses to requests for quotation, material needs, technical inquiries, and product solutions.
- Responsible for full cycle of customer orders from creation through delivery, communicating and resolving any deviations from what has been promised.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including but not limited to account managers, credit center, inventory managers and an extensive vendor network.
- Understands the goals and concepts of the business to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Drive new sales growth through outcalls to unsold and undersold accounts.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Strong math skills including conversions, Algebra and Geometry; mechanical aptitude. Ability to read prints.
- Proficiency within Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required; experience within CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce.com) and SAP operating platforms beneficial
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
- Positive attitude, competitive, goal-oriented and passion to excel.
- Flexible and solutions-oriented.
- High degree of business ethics.

Qualifications:
- SAP knowledge and experience required

- Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma with combined education/work experience equivalent considered.
- 3 -5 years prior sales or industry experience.
