International Banking Specialist

A Nation leading provider of Financial Services is currently seeking a timely, reliable, proactive, and team oriented professional to join their Minneapolis location as an International Banking Specialist.

This person will be working with the Global Service and Settlements teams, and will primarily be responsible for monitoring the system used for screening cash and security transactions to meet the Global Sanctions policy.

Any background with Trust and/or back office operations will be a benefit.

A demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines will be important in the selection process.

responsibilities:

Official Job Description:

Performs a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that requires extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for analyzing and inputting details for OFAC screened transactions
  • Monitor message routing and OFAC screening dashboards
  • Review screened transactions for dispositioning
  • Monitor and oversee workflow and assign out screened messages for processing
  • Research and resolve exceptions related to transaction screening
  • Provide team coverage and back-up support
  • Provide process subject matter expertise for business projects and testing initiatives
  • Works under minimal supervision

May also include:

  • Differentiating, processing and reconciling transactions
  • Researching inquires
  • Reviewing time sensitive and/or complex documents
  • Creating or revising departmental procedures
  • May provide department level reporting using multiple sources
  • May provide training or work direction to junior level staff
  • Provides back-up for other desks
