A highly reputable manufacturing company located in Farmington, CT is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate all domestic machine deliveries, including customer service. This role would also be supporting the machine import process. If you have a background in Customer Service within a manufacturing company and you're looking to build upon your skill set, this role could be exactly what you've been waiting for! *PLEASE NOTE, THIS POSITION IS ONLY TEMPORARY FOR 10 WEEKS*

Responsibilities:
Job duties:
1) Schedule and coordinate all domestic machine deliveries and returns.
2) Communicate with customers to arrange deliveries and answer questions as needed.
3) Participate in weekly meeting with Service Department.
4) Scanning and filing of completed orders.
5) Maintain proper and accurate documentation for all import and domestic shipments.
6) Communicate with freight companies (domestic and international).
7) Review freight invoices.
8) Communicate shipping info and freight quotes to various internal departments (sales, service etc.)
9) Support dept. leads as needed.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
Required Experience:
Previous experience in customer service and/or manufacturing environment (3+ years). Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Must be very organized and detail oriented. Experience in a logistics-related function strongly preferred.

Qualifications:
Education
High School degree required, Associates degree preferred.
