Permanent position: Rapidly growing Houston Engineering firm looking for a mechanical engineer. The firm provides expertise in refining, petrochemical, and power generation. We are a technical leader in rotating machinery, piping, pressure vessels, structures and material. This position will allow you to both learn and contribute your expertise at an industry wide level. Relocation provided if needed.

Responsibilities for the Machine Engineer

  • Responsible for Experience with use of Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) tools
  • Responsible for compressor dry gas seal specification, installation, and trouble-shooting
  • Responsible for equipment fundamentals ranging from vibration analysis to basic failure analysis

Requirements for the Machine Engineer

  • Must have BSME Degree
  • Must have 5-10 years' rotating equipment experience in the refining, petrochemical or power generation industries
  • Must have Proficiency with API, ISO, and PIP Machinery Standards
  • Familiarity with large machinery installation, maintenance, and overhaul preferred
