Company in Billerica MA is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for their first shift. This is a Direct Hire position starting at $18 - $28/hr, great benefits package included. Call David at 978 794 1875 for more details.

Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for supporting the production floor by maintaining industrial machines through preventative and emergency maintenance. This position is responsible for making informed suggestions on process improvements and methods.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Skills:
Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery
Remove, repair and reassemble machine components, including hydraulic and electro-mechanical
Use of diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test instruments
Performing preventative and predictive maintenance
Completing projects such as mechanical and electrical repairs and upgrades
Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions
Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation
Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing industrial machines
Experience completing preventive maintenance on industrial machines and other company equipment
Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to express basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance work assignments
Must have experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair procedures
Knowledge of conventional welding, carpentry, and plumbing
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be capable of working efficiently and effectively during any shift such as days or weekends, including irregular and unscheduled hours, as needed for machine breakdowns and time sensitive projects
