Randstad is looking for a qualified candidate to work for a large steel manufacturing facility in Knoxville. The ideal candidate will perform all operations required to install, troubleshoot, repair, construct, modify, calibrate, test and service digital electronic equipment. Candidates must be comfortable with a hot and dirty environment. This position will be a swing shift 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am with 1 full week off each month. Pay range is $28-32/hour based on experience with room for advancement.

Responsibilities:
-Install, troubleshoot, repair, construct, modify, calibrate, test and service digital electronic equipment

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Skills:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of electrical and electronic wiring specification
- Knowledge of properties of various materials and principles of operation and application of equipment
- Good aptitude to make all required repairs to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, networking and control/information systems
- Familiarity with basic operating systems and PLC system software packages to enable the troubleshooting of process problems by reviewing programs in PLC written in Ladder or Boolean.
