Calling all meeting planning professionals. A fabulous non-profit association in Washington DC is searching for an experienced and accomplished Meetings Coordinator. Randstad Professionals is supporting a research and healthcare-focused, mission-driven association with a key role in the busy Meetings department. This client is looking for an experienced and dedicated administrative professional with prior meetings experience supporting a nonprofit. This is an immediate temporary to hire opening to support the Chief of the Meetings department and the department staff.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide general support to the Meetings department, Chief of Staff, and the staff with all administrative aspects of the department goals. The overarching tasks will include project management, budget management, scheduling and logistics, and publishing activities for the association's meetings.
-Maintain the Chief of Staff's calendar
-Take and distribute minutes of meetings and conference calls
-Coordinate planning and logistics and track implementation for large events and meetings
-Coordinate preparation and compilation of meeting materials for internal and external meetings and conference calls
-Prepare invoices and check requests
-Maintain financial documentation
-Assist with responses to financial inquiries and reconciling expenses
-Assist with budget development and management

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
The ideal candidate will have supported a nonprofit and/or association prior
The client is looking for a minimum of 3 years in Meetings and Events
High attention to detaila nd commitment to excellence
Microsoft Office Suite
Background in meeting planning and supporting an Executive leader
