The Multimedia and Graphic Designer will be able to create video, animation and standard print design solutions. As a multimedia and graphic designer, you will be responsible for projects that may span both print and multimedia design to communicate complex ideas. Successful candidates must have a high attention to detail and strong design skills. The Multimedia and Graphic Designer develops internal and external communications materials that align and support the corporate brand in a team environment within the Corporate Communications Department. This person takes direction from the Manager of Branding and Creative Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, create and design a wide variety of graphic materials that satisfy the needs of customers. These materials may be of printed or electronic form and may include: illustrations, brochures, newsletters, web sites and graphics, and corporate identification marks.

- Synthesize different media sources such as video, images, animation, sound, text and data to create a complete and integrated media product for use on the web.

- Work hands-on designing, collaborating and inspiring in a team dynamic.

- Works with an Audio/Visual team to record footage, interviews and events.

- Commitment to creating smart, innovative and client-focused quality work.

- Seamlessly manages time in a steady workflow of complex, multi-function projects within the creative team.

- Participate in design development meetings with clients and team to determine project requirements, objectives and creative direction

- Work with the customers to complete all phases of a project from inception to a draft or finished product.

- Natural ability to conceptualize, design and create new multimedia designs with frequency and ease from inception through creation of final design.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a creative team.

- Ability to apply graphic design skills and tools in the composition of technical documentation including flow charts, diagrams, and presentation materials
