job summary:

This project is focused on security architectures as opposed to applications per se, and using applications, and pipeline of application-related technology projects to deduce significant vernacular architectures, capturing the architectures and annotating them, and creating a knowledge base in this manner.

responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

* Able to translate security attributes of applications (primarily web based) into a generalized and abstract architecture document in an enterprise environment primarily based on documentation

* Able to read through hundreds of pages of standards and baselines and distill those requirements into the appropriate architecture

* Must have knowledge of common network elements, particularly common security elements, in both an enterprise and customer facing environment

* Candidate must be able to work and dress professionally in a downtown Chicago or New York office

* Working knowledge of the object oriented software design

* Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle process

* Working knowledge of Agile methodology

* Must be fluent in written and spoken English

* Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53v4 and/or ISO 27034

* Create one-off scripts in a limited Powershell and Python environment to mine artificats

* Identity and Access Management experience

* Threat modeling experience

* Software development experience (Java / .NET) on Linux and Windows environments

* Must have some working experience (cannot be a recent graduate)
