job description

We are searching for an experienced procurement specailist. Duties include daily purchasing and tracking for customer order requirements, replenishment of warehouse stock, replenishment/inventory transfer documents for service truck stock, assistance with inventory management and other office duties. Excellent computer skills are a must. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities:
Purchases a variety of commercial supplies and equipment by placing delivery orders against established contracts or other standardized purchasing methods.
Negotiates with vendors on a variety of issues including price breaks, accelerated delivery and reduction of service charges.
Researches, interprets and adapts guidelines to contract administrative issues including modifications, terminations, claims, payments, and non-routine purchases.
Maintains accountable property records and reconciles the accountability report.
Advises approving officials and purchase card holders on purchase card program procurement procedures and responsibilities.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Excel - Must be able to perform a VLOOKUP at a minimum
