job summary:

We are looking for a Product Service Engineer (PSE) in Bothell, WA

Serve as a Product Service Engineer (PSE) in direct support of the complaint handling team by capturing critical information for patient use cases focusing on: device operability, field service actions and operator actions in a time-compressed environment.

responsibilities:

Primary duties include:

- Emergent collection of data from the customer to resolve a complaint investigation, to make rapid MDR/MDV decisions by the clinical complaint investigation staff

- Facilitate return of product, parts and/or components, or bench/field testing of products that are the subject of a complaint

- Assure full and prompt Failure Analysis lab assessment, and reporting into TrackWise

- Working directly with Field Service Engineers and third parties to obtain Service Work Order data, and to promptly determine if they have found patient involvement to prevent late MDRs

- Drafting letters and working with Key Market representatives to deliver information to the customer to resolve their complaints

- Assure timeliness and accuracy of UALs, and any updates

 
qualifications:

Requirements:

- 5 years of technical experience.

- BA/BS in Quality Assurance, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology preferred, or equivalent education and experience.

 
skills: - Broad technical knowledge of resuscitation products and related clinical applications desired.

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

- Must have experience in a customer facing role with demonstrated ability to meet internal and external customer requirements.

- Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy interrupt driven environment.

- Must be proficient with computers and office tools, experience with network infrastructure and configuration highly desired.

- Experience working with an FDA regulated medical device and associated regulatory processes is highly desired.
