job summary:

Responsible for managing one to multiple projects from the initiation, execution and closure within the information technology department for quality, supply chain, manufacturing, business intelligence and/or pharmacy solutions functional areas. Oversees all aspects of projects from estimating, budgeting, setting up work breakdown structures with tasks, deliverables, timelines and resources to meet business objectives

Ability to set a course of action and motivate team members to drive the team to achieve project deadlines. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departmental resources involved in the projects and is willing to step in where necessary to get the job done. Prepares status reports with key accomplishments, upcoming tasks, milestones, issues, risks, budgets and actuals and can facilitate meetings with the steering committee using clear communication. Ability to foresee impacts to projects and direct team to alternate approaches when the standard approach is not working, or when obstacles are presented. Tracks risks and plans for the mitigation if that risk becomes an issue. Proficient knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry's adherence to regulations and SDLC processes.
