job description

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for supporting the Company's quality initiatives by performing visual
and dimensional inspections and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with quality and performance
standards. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities:
Follows established procedures and guidelines to check,test and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finishing goods.
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
Reads and understands blue prints to recognize specifications on print/drawing for various surfaces being machined.
Performs basic preventative maintenance to equipment and measurement calibration.
Advises supervisor of conduct that may violate rules,policies, and procedures.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Skills:
Minimum 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
1 year experience with power industrial trucks
Experience with computerized inventory control systems,cycle systems, MS Word and Excel
Oracle experience preferred
Ability to operate and program CMM
Certified Internal Auditor

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent or experience
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Stand for 10 hours a day
Good manual dexterity
Eye hand coordination and attention to detail
