job description

The Role:
Provide analytical sampling work for internal customers. Audits, tests, and documents results using standard test procedures. Samples are collected on site and sent to the QA Laboratory for testing.

In this role you will:

  •  Prepares samples for quality testing of Micro-Contamination and Membrane products.
  •  Will be responsible for Sample preparation operations 2nd shift 3 evenings during the week and/or on Saturdays and Sundays.
  •  Responsible for following standard operating procedures for required tests.
  •  Sets up, mixes and/or delivers production chemicals used in testing process where accuracy of chemical composition is important. Works from written and verbal instructions;
  •  Removes and disposes of waste chemicals, solvents and acids in accordance with established safety procedures which meet both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations;
  •  May make recommendations for modifications to safety procedures to prevent or correct hazardous situations;
  •  Maintains documentation of test preparation operations and provides information to analysts.
  •  Develops and maintains user relations and coordinates various functions within the company to ensure that requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner;
  •  Maintains the Quality testing preparation area of the lab, ensuring laboratory is stocked with reagents for sample preparation.
  •  Processes internal customer testing requests appropriately and in a timely manner.


Working hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM  Saturday and Sunday plus 3 days during the week

  •  Follow proper documented standard operating procedures

  •  High school, degree or equivalent work experience;
  •  Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred;
