Randstad is currently looking for a full-time Quality Technician. The position is located in Maryville, TN. The Quality Assurance Technician role is multi-faceted including performing internal
audits, and calibrating measuring and test equipment. The Quality Assurance Technician must possess and consistently demonstrate excellent communication and
record keeping skills, good attention to detail, good mathematical aptitude, and the ability to read, understand and interpret technical documentation while maintaining a
high degree of integrity.

Responsibilities:
*Perform internal audits on the manufacturing floor for compliance with internal
company work and inspection instructions.
* Possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly
and concisely communicate audit findings to management.
* Ability to read and interpret part drawings to develop and improve inspection
instructions
Understand company policies and procedures related to the company??s quality
management system.
*Perform inspections with all types of measuring and test equipment, including
calipers, micrometers, height gages, gage blocks and specialty gaging.
*Perform calibrations and maintain the calibration database for all employee,
company and customer owned gaging.
*Read and interpret technical specifications, and review and approve material test
reports for incoming raw materials and special processes.
*Consistently use good judgment and decision making on quality related issues
based on comparison to quality standards and customer requirements.
*Maintain a high degree of integrity.
*Organize, file and maintain documentation as required, with good attention to
detail.
*At all times comply with all company safety policies
