One of our top clients, located in Middlesex County, NJ is looking to hie a Temporary Sales Associate to assist Marketing, Sales and Design. This position will be strictly temporary and will last until the end of December, perhaps longer.

 

The overall purpose of this position is to increase sales opportunities and revenue for the company's Inside Sales organization. The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for increasing the number of Inside Sales leads, opportunities, accounts, and ultimately sales. The role reports to the Inside Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

1. Sales Lead Generation

  • Works with Sales Director and Representatives to develop and implement effective, repeatable sales strategies
  • Aids sales representatives with the Inside Sales client base to ensure on-time or early renewals
  • In conjunction with sales team, ensures overall satisfaction and growth from existing customers and prospects through email, WebEx or phone contact
  • Presents a professional image of the company and the Inside Sales team via phone and e-mail communication
  • Creates and implements campaigns to increase the number of sales leads for the Inside Sales organization
  • Researches potential prospects and contacts through web searching, independent contact databases and internal database sources.
  • Identifies points of contact at prospect accounts and updates contacts, accounts and hierarchies in salesforce.com
  • Conducts competitive analysis for existing customers to identify potential like-prospects
  • Gathers information on customer and prospect usage statistics through multiple sources
  • Contacts existing and potential customers with new product information to encourage sales leads

2.Sales and Marketing Technical Support

  • Runs usage statistic reports and identify opportunity areas for either low usage or high usage accounts
  • Monitors scout analytics for usage data
  • Runs 360 reports for customers/prospects to identify IEEE purchasing history
  • Runs ad-hoc salesforce.com reports required by sales representatives and Sales Director
  • Provides out of office coverage when sales representatives are traveling or on vacation

3. Marketing Support

  • Identifies and develops new product and service opportunities with product marketing and product management organizations
  • Designs marketing campaigns for target markets
  • Provides information and feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff



Qualifications

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Need to interact with a variety of constituents ranging from staff, customers and prospects as well as other service providers on a constant basis
  • Must possess strong writing skills in order to prepare reports, sales quotations, recommendations and requests for action that will be addressed to the cpmpany's Board, Senior Volunteers and Staff Leadership; Must be able to convey key messages concisely, able to draw recipient / reader into action
  • Must be adaptable, supporting change by adjusting quickly and effectively to new priorities or circumstances; actively contributing to the implementation of new ideas, offering suggestions to improve the process
  • Must be able to handle routine and somewhat complex problems effectively; identifying alternatives and selecting appropriate solutions; involving others as appropriate
  • Must be a technologically savvy knowledge worker who seeks out technology solutions to business challenges; Knowledge of and experience with : Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel , Google environment (Gmail, Google drive, etc.), CRM software, salesforce.com, web searching preferred
