We are partnering with a fast-growing global technology business that is expanding its team to help support ongoing growth. You will handle a wide range of responsibilities and will be given plenty of growth opportunities to ensure you remain challenged. As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee external and executive-level reporting, improvements to the reporting and month-end processes, standardization across all business entities, and provide support on budgeting and forecasting.

responsibilities:

Main responsibilities:

- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for internal reporting purposes

- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with SEC rules for external reporting purposes (10Qs and 10K)

- Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility on a quarterly and annual basis

- Support C-suite and the leadership team on the production of financial results and ad-hoc reporting

- Manage a diverse range of responsibilities related to finance, accounting, reporting, and systems

- Support the ongoing ERP implementation and work to automate manual tasks and processes

- Assist the rest of the accounting team with certain monthly close activities

- Help to on-board, train and mentor new team members and the team continues to grow Requirements:

 
qualifications:

- Big 4, large national public accounting firm or public company experience required

- CPA strongly preferred

- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting

- Advanced Excel and adept with large ERP systems

- Excellent project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team

- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards building relationships with other teams and offices
