job summary:

A large manufacturing company in Fairfield County is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team for an extended project. The Senior Financial Analyst's primary responsibilities include supporting the monthly and quarterly financial closes by preparing and maintaining all of the accounting and financial reporting requirements including inter-company analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support and guidance to the Program Management team while working closely with the other Sikorsky finance organizations including GMSS, Core FP&A, and Controllers
  • Develop and support quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) / CSR reporting process including identification and tracking of financial risks and opportunities, business modeling of the In Service Support activities and foreign currency transactions
  • Develop and provide key financial reports to Assistant Program Managers (APM) and their assigned Control Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Support and lead the Risks & Opportunities register and database and forecasting of Program Management
  • Comprehend and support the complex In Service Support contract, model future cash collections, revenues and costs
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis for Finance and Executive management
  • Assist with preparation and supervision of monthly financial commitments
  • Perform other duties on an as-needed basis
  • SAP and Advanced MS Excel is required!
