job summary:

Randstad Professionals is currently working with a medium size law firm in downtown Minneapolis in need of an experienced litigation paralegal. This individual should have strong experience assisting attorneys in preparation for depositions, trial, and settlement negotiations.

responsibilities:
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
  • Filing court documents electronically with both state and federal courts.
  • Updating pleadings and preparing discovery requests.
  • Communicating with attorneys and clients over the phone and in person.
  • Prepare complex litigation files for trials and depositions.
 
qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience working as a paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience using Relativity.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
