Randstad Inhouse Services is currently reviewing resumes for the role of a Supply Chain Specialist.- Our client is a world renowned manufacturer of commercial heating, air, and refrigeration solutions located in North Charlotte.- This role will support product development as it relates to the supply chain team.- More importantly it will coordinate and lead a project management team from inception to completion of a particular design or build providing key metrics all along the way.-

Responsibilities:
Execution of the following will ensure success:

-?? Track and manage vendor compliance/supplier performance (e.g. lead time, delivery, quality, adherence to logistics guide)
-?? Actively coordinate with Sales/Marketing ensuring the availability of materials to meet production goals
-?? Participate cross functionally promoting "same page" awareness
-?? Provide administrative support (e.g. parts setup, update MRP, vendor setup)
-?? Support the Materials department with purchasing, expediting, routing, etc.
-?? Manage key materials metrics (i.e. total spend, engineered changes completion rate, obsolescence, aging)

The chosen candidate will be provided on the job training of client based systems as well as the support and resources necessary to expertly accomplish the prescribed goals.?? How one is able to amass, decipher, and disseminate information in a coherent practical manner with proven sustenance is the critical component to this role.

Starting Pay rate - $25.00 per hour (Considerations will be made based on experience and qualifications.?? Pay requirements encouraged)

Schedule - Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This position will be housed within the manufacturing facility with access to all aspects of the production facility.?? Steeled toed footwear is recommended but not provided.?? All other necessary PPE is provided.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
The successful candidate will exhibit the following skills and qualifications:

-- Proven project management results in a supply chain setting (e.g.- process improvements, forecasting models, scheduling)
-- Able to coordinate and analyze a large data set into a presentable format
-- A thorough understanding of the Supply Chain as it pertains to this role (should be represented on the resume)
-- A greater than Intermediate knowledge but not necessarily Expert knowledge of Excel (self taught OK, just enough to be dangerous also OK!)
-- Previous experience in Materials Management and/or Scheduling
